I truly wish we would learn to appreciate the variety of beautiful cultures humanity has developed, rather than constantly searching for selfish reasons to oppose the different geopolitical boundaries we've forced upon ourselves.

There is a law under the CCP that parents can sue and have their children arrested if they don't support them when they are old, which is used more often than not. So, no, family is not everything under the CCP.

Calligraphy is dying in mainland China. Young people don't see the point and don't care about. Most calligraphy is now done by machine.

Chinese food is unregulated. Gutter Oil is very common. For all the things this guy says about noodles and dumplings, I never once heard this from anyone in China. Moon cakes are only for mid-autumn festival and most people I met view them as tasteless and useless as fruitcake at Christmas. I'm starting to wonder which CCP shill gave out all this information.

I am so sick of westerners thinking China is this mysterious land of deep culture and tradition. It isn't. It wasn't when I lived there. Even my wife from Jiangsu watched this with me and started laughing at it.

Respecting elders? Even my wife hates old people in China as they are the most selfish, entitled, judgemental people you'll meet. Who used to call my wife a whore for holding my hand in public? Old people. Who used to call me foreign trash mostly? Old people!

The Chinese language is no mysterious. So what if they use characters? My God, this sinophile is worse than the wu mao that tried to convince me foreigners are too stupid to speak and understand Chinese.

TCM is a joke. Let's cure cancer with star anise! Got a yeast infection? drink this herbal tea. Even most educated people in China view TCM as a complete joke of placebo.
