Still snowing 'lightly' in southern MD, but won't know how much HERE til I go OUT to measure!

'Snow this evening will give way to some clearing late. Low 21F. Winds NNW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 90%. Snow accumulations less than one inch. Higher wind gusts possible.'

and for tomorrow,

'Windy with a few clouds from time to time. High near 35F. Winds NW at 20 to 30 mph. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.'

SO hi winds, and hi TEMP up to 35!

We're still getting a little bit of snow. I think we totaled about 3 inches here in Wilmington. Walleye Jan 2025 #1

AHA!

SOUTHERN MARYLAND — Southern Maryland residents woke up to a winter wonderland, with reports of up to 10 inches of snow in some areas—a stark contrast to recent years of little to no snowfall.

Residents across Southern Maryland reported varying snow totals to The BayNet’s Facebook page:

Owings: 10 inches
Huntingtown: 9.6 inches
Hughesville: 9 inches
Lusby: 8 inches
La Plata: 8 inches
Leonardtown: 6.5 inches
Hollywood: 7.5 inches
Clements: 6 inches

These reports showcase the widespread impact of the storm, with nearly a foot of snow in some parts.

We got 17 inches. No temps above freezing predicted for at least a week. Maybe more snow this coming weekend.
