Maybe because people are realizing they are selling BULLSHIT??

https://abcnews.go.com/US/churches-fight-stay-open-attendance-dwindles/story?id=116905100

I suspect the Christo fascist agenda of anti-women, anti-LGBTQ, anti-immigrant, anti-science, anti-democracy, anti-Bible, anti-teachings of Jesus, pro-money grubbing, pro-discrimination, pro-snake oil selling, pro-pedophila, pro-pederasty, pro-sexual assault, and pro-fairy tales and flat Earth stupidity are making rational people think twice about putting up with their nonsensical imaginary world while they constantly ask for more money while they luxuriate in their 4th or 5th private jet to Tahiti and elsewhere.

I am as far as I am concerned, I am an agnostic full tilt. I agree with every word in your
description of those fools. Where we probably differ is who falls into that category.
My dearly departed wife who was a believer who married me knowing I was agnostic
even though the ones you described I first considered pharisees until they became so
ridiculous that I simply now call true believers told her she was going to be unequally
yoked. My definition a of a true believer is a believer who recreated God and Jesus in their
image thereby making themselves God. They are by definition a little a anti-christ. The
capital A anti-christ is supernatural, but these people natural. Just trying to clarify with
you how I feel on the subject because I have had told by believers to be agnostic means
I am an atheist. I have had atheist tell me agnostic equals atheist. I am doing the thing
everyone says is a mistake by assuming by your username you are an atheist. So, if I
am wrong I apologize, if I am right then just because we may disagree that does not
make us enemies. I wish well on your journey through this existence whatever that
may be.

7. Gnosticism and theism are 2 different things......

Gnosticism deals with knowledge while theism deals with belief.

I consider myself an agnostic atheist (sometimes called "hard" atheism).
I think everyone is agnostic, i.e., no one can ever really "know" about a diety.

I've always been an atheist because I've never seen any evidence that a god exists. Nor do I believe ANYTHING exists outside of space and time. Yet today people continuosly have religion shoved into their faces by the so-called "believers" who espouse biblical tenets.
Yet these same people ignore the parts of the Buy Bull they don't like or don't want to justify, like slavery.

One of the best examples of this was someone had tatooed on their arm Leviticus 18-22 about homosexuality being an "abomination".
Yet one chapter later (19-28) it says "nor print any marks upon you".....so according to his book, he commited a sin. Yeah, right, no contradiction there.......

I'm more anti-religion because science over the centuries has corrected itself, while religion never has. The need for a god gets smaller and smaller as science discovers the truth behind our reality. Religion just keeps making excuses for childish beliefs.

I am so sick of the prevailing notion that somehow religion is needed to be a good person - IT ISN'T. Enough of that bullshit already.

Some of the meanest, most unscrupulous people I know claim to be Christians. And I'm not just talking about a handful of people. I'm talking about LOT of folks are claiming to be Christian...well, you see them yourselves every day. They're an obscenity.

I often say I behave in a more christian fashion than anyone I know, and I am agnostic. For example, I am a regular platelet donor. Blood banks are constantly having to beg people to donate - WHERE are all these so-called "pro-lifers"??? THAT would be something they could literally be doing to save lives.

4. Catholics are now advertising on TV commercials for new members
Tue Dec 31, 2024, 01:59 AM

While I was trying to untangle jewelry chains for 48 hours I listened to the TV as background noise since I could not actually watch (my eyes were focused on a huge knot of gold and silver).

What I learned is that "THEY are taking away YOUR viagra", men have gross body odor, Cindy Crawford owns all ad time on late night TV and she does not look younger, and now young, Catholic men need to wake up and find their faith in Catholicism . Ha!

I must admit that when I heard the religion ad I was so curious that I looked up from the twisted knot that was driving me insane and saw the commercial. It provided the only laugh I had for 48 hours so I guess they ARE good for something after all.
