Rec on stone type?
Tyia!
Yes, Amazon has a bunch, but I don't like Amazon & prefer natural, untreated stones.
Tyia!
Update: I found a lively, energetic moonstone pendulum. Many thanks to all who offered potential solutions.

(4,823 posts)Each stone has a different purpose in divination. Heres a good article describing good stones to use and their purposes.

(4,823 posts)I put mine in the sun and the moon, preferably full for a whole 24 hour cycle. If youre able to get the pendulum string wet you can soak it in salt water.
Lapis, Amethyst, Selenite, Flourite, Laborodite are powerful intuition connectors.
Heres a good site too

(68,260 posts)Hadn't thought about ebay...
It would be much easier if I knew what I wanted, but I don't.

(68,260 posts)I adopted a lovely moonstone one from a company through Amazon.
I don't do much biz with Amazon anymore because of their maga owner.
I couldn't be happier with the pendulum. It is a natural stone, which is what I'd wanted & works like a charm! Almost like someone charged it up for me.
Clouds Passing
(4,823 posts)Did you put it out under the scorpio full moon?

Clouds Passing
(4,823 posts)intentions for stones. I give my stones a full 24 hour sunlight/moonlight cycle in a window that gets both or put them outside. If you put them on the ground for a 24 hour cycle you will get the extra grounding from the earth which is excellent for connecting the earth and universal energies.
Sage smudging is also a good way to quick cleanse a pendulum.
Ive seen cleansing plates/mats online to set the pendulum or rocks on when finished using.

(68,260 posts)Sadly, none of my windows get moonlight & if I set outside, some critter is likely to make off with it.
But I appreciate you sharing.

(398 posts)found this somewhere and it works for me:
Hold stone under cool or tepid running water and say "Christlike Christlike Christlike"
Congrats on your new friend!

(8,319 posts)crystal that talked to me, wrapped wire (like jewelry wire) around it and arranged a little loop on top, tied a string around the loop -- make sure it can move easily in all directions -- and you have a pendulum.
SheltieLover
(68,260 posts)But I've never worked with jewelry wire & wasn't sure how that would go. Lol
Thx for the idea, though.

I'll sure keep them in mind, though.
