(2 posts)Dear Bob, I am a mathematician, who knows nothing of astrology or tarot, or even spirituality, and as a lapsed Catholic, married for 52 years to a space scientist, who believes everything can be explained by quantum physics. Yet, for whatever reason, I followed the astrology blog? And became intrigued by your comments. Resistant to fortune-telling, I am impressed by your method of forecasting, using progressions and a 360 degree scale. I admire its precision. So I miss your contributions to this forum, and hope you are well and happy, and will continue to contribute. I know you have been subject to criticism for your lack of interpretation , but chide those critics for their failure to recognise that is the nature of science: it is never definitive and final.
While I enjoy the readings of the tarot contributors, I would like to see more contributions by astrologers, complete with their charts and geometry, which seem to have been in remission here. So please continue to be a beacon. Best regards.
Dear Bob, We mathematicians still study Kepler, possibly among the greatest early astronomers, and yet also a student of astrology ( although mostly to debunk it). I think you may be his reincarnation, as he, like you, valued precision and accuracy. He measured the rotation of all the planets recognisable at the time, and hypothesised about Neptune. As for Pluto, its status continues to be in dispute. As a writer, I also plead for you to write a book about your methods, and some suggested approaches to interpreting them. Please continue to contribute your insights!

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
