This riverside city may be synonymous with fine food Parma ham, Parmesan but it also satisfies appetites for art, music and history.

(47,660 posts)I'll be planning my very first trip to Europe (at age 68) soon. I'm planning to start in Florence and end up in Munich/Bavaria. I noticed Parma is north of Florence, and I figure I have to pay homage to the cheese.
