It's Penn State vs Notre Dame and Texas vs Ohio State.
I haven't followed college football too closely but I think the Buckeyes are too much for the Longhorns, and I like the Irish over the Nittany Lions. But no team is dominant this year. Any of these teams could beat any of the others, really.
I think Ohio State will win it all, and Buckeye fans will say, "Winning the title is nice, but if Day can't beat Michigan he has to go."

(8,829 posts)I suppose, though, you can't win them all.

(12,670 posts)But I know that the Buckeyes would have destroyed them.

(29,369 posts)They have a better QB and they have a great defense which ASU gashed for over 500 total yards but Texas beat Michigan on the road while Ohio State lost to them at home.
Ohio State looked great on Wednesday but Oregon may have got off to a slow start because they haven't played in 3 and a half weeks but I wouldn't be surprised if Texas won.
Arizona State hasn't been destroyed by any team really. They lost on the road early at Texas Tech but that was Sam Leavitt's 4th game as a redshirt Freshman. The other loss was at Cincinnati when Sam Leavitt was hurt. Not saying they would have won but I think it would been closer than the experts predicted like the Texas game.
Also Shamari Simmons would have played the whole game and the defense was noticeably much better with him in the game.

(12,670 posts)I go into almost every game expecting our teams to lose. I dont know that ASU couldve kept up with either OSU or Georgia.
Agree about Simmons, I wonder how much difference he wouldve made in the first half.
I think its interesting that all of the Conference champions fell in the playoffs.
