TV Football audio

While I understand that sportscasters believe in their hearts that viewers LIVE to hear their enlightened voices, I wish the networks would offer a "stadium feed" audio channel. This could show the game as is, but substitute the ACTUAL sound of the game. PA announcements and referee calls would be heard...as if we were watching live.

All advertising would be carried unmolested. The feed could be carried on SAP or on a secondary station (like Spanish coverage), or on an internet stream. Comcast offers selectable supplental audio for blind viewers.

Long ago, NBC tried this for an NFL game as the primary programming, but I never heard about the results (but the experiment was never repeated). Technology today provides many more options.

I dunno.... It seems like a no brainer!
