I don't have a feeder (the neighbor has one) and when I catch them, they're feasting on wildflowers.

I incredibly got some photos with the old Coolpix. The viewfinder was useless, so I was using the LCD display in bright light.

The miracle is that the autofocus on that camera is so goo (being over 10 years old) that it got some great shots, when I was basically shooting blind. I am so nearsighted that I have to take my glasses OFF to see the display in focus, and of course, the rest of the universe is a blur.

Those are GREAT colors. Keep trying.

I upgraded the Coolpix to a newer one with a big, bright viewfinder!
