(32,007 posts)but before I could start feeling sorry for myself discovered playoff baseball could be watched during the afternoons, and for free. My outlook did brighten, albeit temporarily.

NBC last broadcast the ALDS in 2000 (Yankees-A's). However, FOX did show the playoff games on its broadcast affiliates (when they were doing the coverage) for a few more years after that until they launched FS1.
