User Cybertact, who also lists their name as Kristoffer, claimed they had the same issue, posting, I am also in the same boat as you. I updated and it bricked Sunday morning. Waiting for the mobile tech tomorrow to get it powered so that I can unplug it from my wall charger. They couldnt tow because the tow truck driver couldnt get the 48v powered to unplug.
Unfortunately for Kristoffer, their fix wasnt so simple. Update: no beuno. Its dead dead, he wrote. Although they tried to jump it, they can hear electricity circulating but not enough to power anything else. So itll get towed today and looked into Thursday.

(15,247 posts)I hate to give them any credit but ANY software upgrade can brick a device if it is incomplete or corrupted.
No idea what happened.
Musk just adopted Zuck's practice of "move fast and break things" and applied it to autos. 😱

(370 posts)I was a copier/printer tech for almost 45 years.
I was having a weird intermittent problem with
finisher on a copier. I called their tech support
and they said to update the finisher firmware.
So I did that and it seemed to fix the problem.
A few days later one of my coworkers takes a
call on this machine and had to replace the
finisher board. The update had blown it. He also
reinstalled the previous level of firmware. He told
me the manufacturer was going to issue bulletin
saying to not install that firmware.
