Related: About this forumCan any of you recommend a cat tree/tower please?
I don't have a cat but I want to send a tree or tower to my grandcat. Apparently they have a pretty crappy one that has almost fallen apart. I was thinking of any at Target that I could have directly shipped. It's for a single cat who loves to climb.
TIA!

(115,882 posts)They seem to be well built, have stood up to several kittens into cats. All vertical poles are fully wrapped with sisal, surfaces are carpeted. I bight off Amazon but am sure they're available thru other pet sites.

I chose this one because it is extra heavy-duty. The cat I purchased it for was 16 lbs. Also because ghe "hammock" type basket is up high. (That was the only part of it she used. Lol)
It's currently on sale, too, but not sure you ar looking to spend this much.

I did a lot of online shopping before choosing this one.
Happy shopping!

(16,575 posts)I expect there will be more cats adopted at some point so I'd like to get them something sturdy
Thanks!

(14,840 posts)It's expensive, but it's pretty and the cats love it. Also, the parts can all be replaced. I normally hate cat trees because they're so ugly and most of them are not sturdy. This is amazingly sturdy, probably because the base is so heavy.
