Breakfast Sunday 7 June 2026

Later this morning I am planning on grilling paneer cheese on sourdough bread topping that with a very ripe roma tomato a nd a couple of spinach leaves. I'll have 2 rashers of bacon on the side and a large glass of cold tea to drink.

Coffee for now and a chew bone with my rotten soldier on the porch. Later I’ll finish off egg noodles with Parmesan cheese.

Rained cats, and dogs last night. Checked my rain gauge before I went to bed, and it read 4.75 inches.. it rained more too, so I need to check to see what the total amount was. Water was going through my pond overflow pipe, and that's good. I'll have a full pond going into the heat of summer. The gardens were needing rain too.

I saw on the news irisblue was getting this heavy rain too.

Good Morning 🌞

I'm totally secluded. It's like a thick fence made of corn. Corn years are my favorite years because an introvert loves privacy.

I'm happy to hear about your amazing water management and conservation efforts!

Gouda grits with a hard-boiled egg, and maybe I'll defy my doctor with an iced blended espresso with some peanut butter protein powder and a hint of fiber to ease the guilt. (My beverage choices have been modified and limited. Drat!) I'll just have extra water later.

Princess Spice is still sleeping, but I'm sure that she won't refuse the egg, grits, and especially not the Gouda.

She won't need any caffeine. She never does.

I hope that everyone has a lovely day.

and a whole grain toasted muffin with butter. Ducky got his tithe.

This was much earlier. I put out and filled the bird feeder and then my back was hurting. I retired to my easy chair and heating pad and dozed for several hours.

Nothing much on my agenda this morning as TJ is sleeping off her night shift so I'll be quiet.
