Green beans, polish sausage, potatoes, and a blueberry muffin.

Strawberry shortcake 🍰, or popcorn later.

I was busy in the kitchen today. I made banana bread, a loaf of white bread, and mushroom souffle. I simmered the chicken and then used the broth to make a simple vegetable and noodle soup, just a serving. I had tastings along with the drumsticks. I haven't tried the bread yet, maybe later. If I cook anything else this weekend, maybe I should have an intervention!

With both guanciale and San Marzano tomatoes. And Pasta Abruzzese di semola di grano duro (bronze dice).

I've been waiting two years to make this recipe, but never found the time. That's why I went all out for the ingredients.

And yes, well worth the effort and expense.

We went to a new restaurant while out shopping and had steamed snow peas and water chestnuts with tofu with black bean sauce on the side and vegetable mei fun. Brown rice was very good and not your usual variety. We’d go back to this place again. Cheers!🥂
