When I read the title I was thinking of a restaurant in Vermont, "Chicken of the Woods" (Waterbury, Burlington)

4. Hen of the Woods grows in our yard every year. Not as tasty as C.O,T.W. but still a treat.

Then or course, there is Lions Mane that we find on hikes in N.j. ---- and the occasional Morel.

6. I love hen of the woods and do find it once in a while

when foraging. Lions mane is another of my favorites too. I was thinking if getting one of those kits for lions mane and maitakes.( hen of the woods).
