And that’s all because I have to go in for a routine dental checkup. Hami melon, which is like cantaloupe, but a little sweeter.

When I get back, though, I want to finish my soup recipe.

I had a huge craving for biscuits and sausage gravy.

I was delighted to discover that those gravy packets you can buy (in this case, country gravy) don't contain meat. So I bought some vegetarian sausage, warmed it up, and crumbled it into the cooked gravy mix. I added red pepper flakes to taste.

I am not sure I would have known the difference. I kept snitching the *sausage" gravy for the next two days.

Oh yeah, and scratch biscuits may have helped.

Double espresso and some double-stuffed oreos now.

Later toasted all-seeded bagels, cream cheese with smoked salmon.

More espresso and others will have coffee.
