The sushi place was by my appointments for the day, so I bought Spicy Crab on Inari on the way home. For those not familiar with it, the menu described it: Seasoned Fried Bean Curd, Rice Seasoning, Spicy Crab, Sushi Rice, and Black Sesame Seeds.
I've had it several times before; always enjoyed it. This pic is from the restaurant:
Making my own Asian cucumbers tonight with mirin and chives from the garden.
Hot ginger tea.
Kombucha will be blackberry-pear.
Dessert: might have a little slice of lemon ginger cheesecake but probably not. Already tired of desserts and the holiday isn't even over.

(6,452 posts)Coconut curry lemongrass soup. Mushrooms and onions as the veg. over Jasmine rice cooked with lemongrass.

(591 posts)Smoked salmon, hard boiled egg, little potatoes, green beans, Kalamata olives, pickled beets, baby tomatoes, romaine and home-made mustard vinaigrette dressing.

(1,109 posts)Steam fried in evoo: sliced brussel sprouts, sliced parsnips, chopped yellow bell pepper, diced red onion, sliced mushrooms and garlic. Add can of drained and rinsed butter beans, some Miyokos butter, a couple tsps of Penzys Sunny Paris seasoning, fresh chopped parsley, S&P, and a mixture of cooked red quinoa and brown. Mix and serve. Was super delicious. Cheers! 🥂
