Al is home. Surgery went well, but it will be a few months before we know that he is completely cancer-free (it is VERY rare that this surgery doesn't cure men of cancer, so the odds are hugely in his favor). He's trying to rest, but he's a bit uncomfortable--going to be a few days before he feels like himself again.
