(23,184 posts)There was a four-foot pine tree growing out of the stump of a big tree we cut down years ago. I cut it down for our Christas tree. While I decorated it, the Landlady went to work in the galley, I mean, the kitchen.
Homemade pappardelle topped with a creamy tomato sauce with chunks of chicken and onions. Flash fried asparagus on the side.

(19,535 posts)I just put together some stuffed mushrooms. No recipe, just tossed a few things together that taste good together. I put a crouton in each mushroom, and topped it with a mix of mayo, butter, bacon bits, dried onion and garlic, black pepper, bleu cheese, dash of hot sauce,. I put a tiny piece of Monterrey Jack cheese on top and let them bake for 10 minutes. I might write the mix down, because it was tasty!
