Some recipes do not call for Bourbon likker. You can add an amount if you want.

I did. It's a good recipe. Even without the barrel aged likker! Had a nice little hen for dinner ..

... and it was good. I used a whole hen I parted up. Otherwise stuck to the recipe. Next time I add bourbon at the end and get a little flame.
