Smoked salmon salad with apple and corn relish. Lemon juice, dill, and capers. Lettuce from my garden. This is just one elevated raised bed outside my greenhouse, and I have other beds full of it upstairs and at the school garden. The black seeded simpson is the chartreuse green, ruffly leaf.
Brussels sprouts, roasted at a high temp, with balsamic. Using Ina Garten's recipe.
Ginger kombucha to drink.
If I have dessert, it will be a lemon bar and decaf.
Started kombucha today. Sure hope my starter, AKA pellicle, which is in the refrig, is still good.

(23,186 posts)Were back on the boat in Miami prepping for 24 hours of heavy winds and thunderstorms. Accordingly, were pre-making a few meals so we wont have to cook while the storms comes through.
Tonights dinner will be a crab meat stir fry with water chestnuts, garlic, onions, sesame oil, ginger, bean sprouts, shiitake mushrooms and soy sauce served on angel hair pasta.
Breakfast will be coffee and muffins with strawberry jam.
Lunch, if we want it, will be a fruit salad.
By dinner time Sunday, the storm will probably be gone so we can make dinner!
Its always an adventure!

Kale salad, sushi rice, broccoli & garlic.

At the Korean green grocer the other day, I totaled up what 1 head of each that I have would be if I had to pay for it. Came to a little over $12!
