Breaded pork cutlet with applesauce.

Sausage stuffed acorn squash. The stuffing has chopped celery, onion, and has a maple syrup glaze.

Tossed romaine and black-seeded simpson lettuce with chopped yellow peppers, cucumbers, scallions, avocado, and Chinese noodles. Chipotle ranch dressing.

Dessert: decaf and maybe some strawberry cheesecake ice cream with a half a shortbread cookie.

1. Last of the leftovers from

a couple nights ago: brats, beans, slaw.

2. Eatin' out

We flew from NY to Miami but can’t get back aboard our boat till tomorrow. There’s a lovely French bistro across from our hotel and these are my choices.

Gratinée Lyonnaise which is French onion soup with Swiss cheese baked on top.

Steak Tartare Certifié Angus Coupé au Couteau, Salade et Pommes Frites (from the menu!)

Traditionnelle Tarte des Soeurs Tatin Crème Anglaise (Apple pie with whipped cream)

My cardiologist would probably drop me as a patient! Tomorrow we’ll start prepping for our sail to the Bahamas.

3. Baked Sea Scallops in garlic butter under panko bread crumbs,

parsleyed and parmesaned.

Romaine lettuce, avocado, red onion, thin sliced carrots, mushrooms and red bell pepper with a dollop of blue cheese dressing.

Home made chocolate truffle cookies with chopped pecans.

4. I made a pot of curried chicken vegetable soup

It might be the last pot I make for awhile, if the weather warms up.

5. Butterfly shrimp, french fries and small toss salad.

Peeled orange before bedtime.

Glass of cheap red wine for dessert.
