I'm thinking of getting Hulu.

I already have Netflix, which I find offers the best variety of movies and shows. But I write a movie column and need more sources. I also use Hoopla and Kanopy a lot. It looks like Hulu has some great movies and shows as well.

Thoughts?

But I have an old Mac with an old version of Safari. Some of those sites are a pain in the neck to use.It takes too much time to navigate them. Maybe I'll check them out when I have more time. Besides, Hulu has a bunch of tv shows I'm interested in and it's pretty cheap.

Plus, I think I've gotten viruses from using them in the past.

4. Unless they have come to an agreement, no TNT or TBS on hulu. That is the reason we switched to DTV.

One of our favorite series EVER! In the top five, for sure.

And yes, it is so cheap. Usually we subscribe to one at a time, get caught up on things, then move on for a while. I think Hulu is something like $2.99 a month for us and yes, there are ads, but they're somehow not unbearable (with the mute button, of course). We quit and they sent an email with that special offer so we just stay.

Last time I checked that wasn't an option.

Any tolerance I once had for television advertising evaporated a long time ago.

At the moment my wife and I are not running out of things to watch on Netflix and we've got a stack of DVDs we've not watched yet, or haven't watched, in many years.

I've find other shows to watch on it, but I'm with you, it would be worth it just of OMITB.

Right now, I'm still trying to squeeze all the good content from Apple+, but keep finding more good stuff, so my Hulu is on the shelf. But Hulu is a dependable repository of good watching.
