Facing Nolan (Netflix)

Documentary on Nolan Ryan's insanely great pitching career. 7 no-hitters....'nuff said. But that's only 1 of 51 "firsts" in Baseball history. LOL, not all of them were great.....like Most Walks and most hit batters, for instance. But that's what 27 years in the Majors gets you.
His fastball clocked over 108 MPH and he wasn't afraid to throw inside.

Trmarkable career. It was startaling to see him now....nothing like what I remembered....but what a well grounded person, as is his wife Ruth and the resy of his family.

Well worth the watch.

But Nolan arrived in the Bigs in 1965, I think. Greaseballs, spitballs, roughing up the ball were part of the game.
