(24,564 posts)I thought it started slow and maybe it had jumped the shark. But the ending! Wow! I admit I puddled up, which is rare for me.

(34 posts)The first few episodes of season 3 had me thinking it was too depressing to watch the rest.
As always the jokes rated 100% but the sad moments were REALLY sad.
Jokes got even better (if that's even possible) in last few episodes but the last episode had me in tears.
I don't want to spoil the last episode so I'll just say it was really good, with all wounds healed.
The closing sequence was epic IMHO.

But
Found myself counting how many times the word cunt was said and noticed how little he feeds that poor dog.

(24,564 posts)It's about the equivalent of goddamn here. In fact the term "he's a right cunt" is actually a compliment!

(10,393 posts)throat. It was so powerful. As I said in my previous post, the music is so meaningful in this series and to end with that lovely and heartfelt rendition of Both Sides Now was perfect.
Who would have thought Gervais could write a show like this. Absolutely loved it.

(4,178 posts)It's a brilliant series with some side splitting comedy thrown in.
We saw the episode last night that had the woman in it who uses her breast milk to make rice pudding and her vaginal yeast to make bread. I have not laughed so hard in a LONG time!
