'If death doesnt come from airstrikes, it will come from starvation.'
"More than half a million people in Gaza are starving, with nine out of ten Palestinians eating less than one meal a day and struggling to find clean, drinkable water. Hungry and weak, more Gazans are falling sick their compromised immunity making them susceptible to disease."

In the past 24 hours, the IDF have killed 48 Palestinians and wounded 52 across the Gaza Strip, according to the enclaves Health Ministry which does not discriminate between combatants and civilians. The latest killings have brought the death toll since 7 Oct 2023 to 45,484 and 108,090 maimed or wounded.
Even though the Biden Administration sanctioned several Israeli Settlers this year, this has not deterred them from attacking and evicting Palestinians from their ancestral homes and farms in the West Bank, a practice going on for years.

Two future cellmates. Some people expressed shock the ICC would indict the "Crime Minister" and issue an arrest warrant for him.

(11,438 posts)The Famine Early Warning System Network has taken down a report it published yesterday alleging that famine continues to persist in northern Gaza, after US Ambassador to Israel Jack Lew raised objections over the US-funded agencys methodology.
The FEWS NET alert, unfortunately, issued an analysis without the benefit of further examination by the Famine Review Committee, relies on outdated population estimates, and has methodological limitations based on the availability of data, a spokesperson for the US Agency for International Development tells The Times of Israel.
The spokesperson clarifies that USAID remains deeply concerned about the scale of food insecurity throughout Gaza. It says more than two million people are at risk of famine, particularly in northern Gaza where limited aid has been allowed in amid ongoing Israeli military operations targeting Hamas.
However, the USAID spokesperson notes that a recent US assessment mission has provided updated population estimates. The US also hopes recent aid deliveries bringing food to Beit Hanoun will soon be replicated throughout northern Gaza.

(19,615 posts)- The second picture is from right wing Turkish state media.
- The twitter shit leads to an Arabic language Telegram channel.
- The mock-up of Trump and Netanyahu comes from the website of a retired professor.
- The bloody hand print poster is from a November 2023 story adapted from a 2022 story:"Putins claims that Ukraine is committing genocide are baseless, but not unprecedented"
And, of course, there's also this:

(11,438 posts)I can't even begin to contemplate the rationale of including it all in a post about an outdated WFP report.

(8,689 posts)But here you do it again and I have to say it doesn't say that famine is not happening. It just says that some of the numbers were wrong and they needed to revise it. So it does not say what you think it does yet you continue to use it to push that narrative and so I must correct you. When the numbers are revised and if the report says that famine is not happening I will accept their conclusion but if it is revised and says that famine is happening you will say they are biased. You are not using the report to gain knowledge but to push your narrative and if it says that famine is happening after revising their numbers you wont believe it. Yet you use it to again push your narrative. That's propaganda. Unless you are willing to say you will believe them however it ends up reporting? Can you say that now? So will you believe it, yes or no?

(11,438 posts)It doesn't mean that UFOs exist. It doesn't mean that UFOs don't exist.
And now that we have exhausted the debate on what it doesn't mean, let's quit deflecting from what it does mean. And for that, let's quit the speculations about what you think I think and refer instead to the spokesperson for the US Agency for International Development:
FEWS NET took down their latest report because it was not accurate. That's where things stand now, not a year ago.
If, on the other hand, you insist on correcting what you think I think, I have better things to do. Like getting to the bottom of what the people who think UFOs exist REALLY think about UFOs.
