Related: About this forum'The Bibi Files' can't be seen in Israel, Israelis are finding ways
This is the headline from an article dated today from Naharnet which is a major news outlet in Lebanon. Amidst the corruption saga of a crooked Netanyahu this film was begun before 10/7/23 and is available to stream. Among the police interrogation videos of Netanyahu, his wife and their son is a very telling exchange between the investigators asking questions and Sara Netanyahu.
The entire family is indignant and seems to place themselves as "special" and picked upon. In fact they assail the investigators on a personal level for apparently having the temerity to ask questions of such lofty people. An excerpt from the article about Sara being questioned: " Elsewhere, Sara Netanyahu sits for questioning herself. "How are you not ashamed of yourselves?" she sharply admonishes the interviewers. She tells them that outside Israel, her husband is justly received as a king." This is from actual video footage of the questioning. She sees him as a king and says to do so is a just view. So imagine how he sees himself. Not as an elected leader but as king. So is it really any wonder he feels rules, laws, international obligations etc. do not apply to him? In his mind he is king and not to be questioned.
Apparently the hopeful sign is that the Israeli public is finding ways to see "The Bibi Files" despite the film being prohibited in Israel based on privacy laws regarding the tapes of the interviews. Some are using a VPN to get around it and bootlegs are of course making the rounds. King Bibi the 1st.
