One of Ukraine's most important objectives in the war against Russia is to recapture the occupied Crimean Peninsula from Russian control. Many analysts and politicians say it isn't possible - but they miss several very important points. Previously, I've talked about how Ukraine actually CAN retake Crimea, and why it could surprisingly be much easier than most people even imagine. Today, I'll talk about how Ukraine is now putting these theories into real action - with real results.

1. A siege will work on Crimea

Ukraine can cut Crimea off from supplies and encourage/force Russian settlers to leave

2. Russia did that to themselves

when they bloew up the dam that created the reservoir that fed the big canals going to Crimea. There is no fresh water on that peninsula beyond what gets trapped in cisterns, those largely unused for the last 70 years or so.

They blew that dam to drown all the people of Kherson, too bad the central command lacked a single person who knew how to read a topographical map.

Any siege of Crimea involving short water supply is 100% self inflicted by Russians and their idiotically top heavy system.
