Mauna Loa - Since The Week Starting 3/22 Through The Week Starting 6/14, We Have Been At/Above 430 ppm CO2

The only exception is the week starting May 3rd, for which data are missing.

The only outlier was the week beginning February 22nd, which was 430.17.

It's a long file, so just Control/End to jump to this year's results.

20ppm in 13-14 years? When did you become such a wide eyed optimist? OKIsItJustMe 13 hrs ago #5

Maybe a little earlier, depending on unanticipated feedbacks.

I've stopped saying "collapse" any more, but it sure looks like there's a set of inflection points with that approximate date tattooed on their asses.

Estamos tan jodidos.

I almost wasn't still here. This whole eco-megillah combined with the medically assisted death of my life partner was a little hard on my mental health. I came uncomfortably close to topping myself. But I got help, and now I'm just normally nuts. But part of the recovery program was to step away from active doomerism. No more writing, talking or meditating about it. The knowledge never leaves of course, but the pressures are easier to manage when I'm not constantly reinforcing them. The world will come undone at about the same pace whether I write about thermodynamic sociology or not.

It's pleasant to see familiar handles and belief systems though, so I may just stick around.

Cheers,
GG
