Ford Motor Company sales decreased nine percent to 457,315 units during first quarter of 2026 in the United States. Sales decreased at both Ford and Lincoln.
"The first quarter showed our team worked hard to maintain retail share and navigate a changing industry, while underlying demand remains strong for F-Series, SUVs and the Ford Pro business," said President of Ford Blue and Model e, Andrew Frick. "Were focusing on our high-demand segment strengths while continuing to meet the needs of our customers with affordable and premium vehicle choices," he added.

(37,700 posts)1. Take a look at Consumers Reports on 10 best quality cars and
Chevy has 3 and the other 7 are Japan made. Not one Ford.

Currently nothing I bought 15 years ago has a new version that isnt smaller, plastic, jammed with extra accessories I dont want, and shuts off at stoplights. Most dont have a spare tire. Personally Ill likely never buy a new car again, especially given the nearly 50% jump in prices, but not my paycheck. I can buy a restored classic for new car prices now, and I probably will.
Plus, the Mustang is an electric CUV now? Really?
