A bath tissue and paper product company has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

Parade reports that Royal Paper, a Phoenix, Arizona-based manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy protection on April 8.

Royal Paper was founded in 1992 and serves as a third-party manufacturer for products sold at chains such as Aldi, Kroger, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods.

TheStreet reports that Sofidel America Corp. will acquire all of Royal Paper’s assets.

But if they are responsible for that hemorrhoid-causing sandpaper at my office, then flush 'em.

There's sort of a tradeoff there. If you are really committed to reducing household costs, you'll have to grin and bear it.

I seriously doubt that people's asses care who manufactures their TP, as long as it cleans the derriere.

This morning!! I’m wondering if the news that the Mead paper company in Chillicothe Ohio is in any way connected to this paper company shutting down. It’s a HUGE blow to Chillicothe- so many folks will be out of a job. Mead (it’s called something else now but it’s Mead to me) has been in operation for over 100 years so generations of families have made their living there. This closure is going to be devastation to the community. It’s sad.
