Just a thought, Joe 2016!???!!!
So many are saying Elizabeth Warren. I say she will for now do far greater things as the Great Senator from Massachusetts. There is a time and a place for everything. Hers is to be the best Senator since Teddy.
Her time and place will follow. We love you Senator Warren! We anticipate great things from you!
Massachusetts Strong!
To President Obama and Vice President Biden. We love you. We are greatful for everything that you have done for us!

(53,061 posts)Warren would be an outstanding candidate in 2016.
There is a real problem with any long term legislator running as a candidate, too many necessary compromise votes to account for. That is why since 1932 President Obama is only the second (Kennedy barely beating Nixon the other) sitting Senator to run and win the Presidency. Warren would face that inherent obstacle but given a relatively short period should be able to maneuver around it. I suspect that the first party to put a truly qualified woman at the top of the ticket is likely to win. We have a huge advantage in that we have many talented women with experience who could run.

(4,309 posts)They are an excellent team!
Maybe Joe in 2016? Maybe Elizabeth Warren? Either one would be fantastic.
Just amazing. I was thinking, I never could have dreeeeaaaammmed of this during the dark days of the first Bush administration or after he stole the election in 2004. Depressing times.
We are making progress and the Obama-Biden team remains focused on the agenda of moving America "forward" despite all the sniping and cheap attacks. I, for one, remain very hopeful that we will have intelligent, compassionate, liberal and progressive Presidents for years to come!
BOG!
