(18,352 posts)Ohio used to have 2 Democratic Senators. John Glenn and Howard Metzenbaum. Sherrod Brown beat out Mike DeWine to take Glenns old seat. We need another one.

(8,617 posts)If Ryan-D runs- Tilt Democrat.
Brown-D unseated DeWine-R for Metzenbaum's seat.
Brown-D should run for Governor against DeWine-R in 2022.
Brown-D is not up for re-election until 2024.
Brown-D could run for Governor against DeWine-R in 2022 and defeat DeWine-R. Brown-D could that appoint Connie Schultz-D to that seat.

(18,352 posts)But he thinks he is needed in the Senate. Tim is a perfect choice but those rural voters in Northwest Ohio and Southwest and East keep putting the fools back in, although all down the Ohio River went for Obama, killing 100 years of voting Republican. Must be descendants of the Underground Railroad in Ripley.
I see I had the seats backward I thought he took Glenns seat. Connie can run for anything.
Nan Whaley is running for a Congressional seat.
