Lion is pretty good except....

every now and then the screen EXPANDS to and I have to hit command-0 to get back. I'm working through the changes and dealing with the the backwards scrolling...but I don't know why the auto size change? Anyone know?

Autosave is new; stacked windows are new ... I'm actually liking Lion more than I thought I would hearing it bitched about every night

There's a setting, I've forgotten where or how but it can be done.

I tried Lion, hated it, and went back to Snow Leopard. I can't see one thing in Lion that makes my computing experience noticeably better.
So why Lion? Figure it out: millions of downloads at $29.95 each gives Apple a massive cash transfusion.

From what I've seen of Lion at the Apple Store, it really doesn't give me anything I need. SL is perfect for what I do.
Best of luck with Lion.

10. Using Lion on my new MBP 13"

It has taken a little getting used to. The expanding window thingy does happen to me every once in a while, the double tap does fix it. I changed the scrolling as soon as I could figure out how to, also added the up and down scroll bar on the right side back.

I did change the display from 1280x800 to 1152x720... The top toolbars/icons all seem like maybe 15% smaller to me and after searching around found that there is not any way to make everything a little bigger besides changing the display setting.

I keep my printer plugged in via USB since I don't have blue tooth on my Cannon IP90. With all of the inputs/outputs now on the left side of the MBP 13", I hated the USB plug sticking out of the side. I looked online and ordered a right angled USB cable to sort of match what the magnetic power cable is doing, exiting thru the rear. BUT, when I got it and plugged it in, the cable WAS EXITING TOWARD THE FRONT of the machine. If the USB input/output was on the right side of the machine, the right angled cable would have faced the back of the machine... So I went back online and ordered A LEFT ANGLED USB cable, who knew????? I got it the other day and everything is nice and neat now on the left side. Thank God I only spent like $25 total on the whole thing. Sort of reminds me of "a left handed monkey wrench" or that "steam catcher" the older guys at work would send me to get as a kid!!!
