A YouTube issue. . .

Why can't I get videos playing on the normal videos (I can get videos on the short videos)

When I click on the regular videos, I get the Play arrow in the middle. When I click on that arrow, nothing happens

Anything going on out there at YouTube that I'm not aware of? I have never had this issue until today.

Pls advise, thanx.

you put over the video (basically recognizing a clickable link)? If you try refreshing the page (F5) does it then work?

load and that just reloads (often from an extention conflict or cache/cookie issue). A Ctrl+F5 will do a hard refresh (which will sometimes clear the cache/cookie issue).

Good luck!

I'm now getting the "comments are turned off" message on EVERY video, even the ones I saw a few weeks back and I know I commented on.

Anything unusual going on?

5. From what I am hearing it is YouTube trying to harass adblock users (or other similar apps)

They don't like people blocking their ads. Supposedly, if you turn the ad blocker on and then off you can see comments. It has happened to me yet so I am not sure. It has happened in the past but goes away in a short period of time.
