2014 CO statewide elections vs 2022 CO statewide elections.

2014
Democrats won the Governors Election by a 3.5 percent margin.
Democrats lost the US Senate Election by a 2 percent margin.
Democrats lost the Secretary of State Election by a 2.5 percent margin.
Democrats lost the Treasurer Election by a 5 percent margin.
Democrats lost the Attorney General Election by a 9 percent margin.
Democrats had top tier nominee in
US Senate(Udall- incumbent)
Governor(Hickenlooper- incumbent)
Treasurer(Markey- challenger) former US House member.
Secretary of State Democratic nominee Neguse was a generic Democratic in 2014 but has became a top tier Democrat since getting elected to the US House of Representatives in 2018.
Neguse became the freshman class representatives in 2019 and chair of the Democratic Policy and Communication Committee since 2021.
2022
Democrats won the Governor Election by 19.5 percent margin.
Democrats won the US Senate Election by a 14.5 percent margin.
Democrats won the Secretary of State Election by a 13 percent margin.
Democrats won the Attorney General Election by a 11.5 percent margin.
Democrats won the Treasurer Election by a 10.5 percent margin.

The Democratic nominee for US Senate,Governor,Attorney General,Secretary of State and Treasurer are incumbents.
In 2026
CO will have an open seat statewide elections for
Governor/Lt Governor
Attorney General
Secretary of State
Treasurer.

The Democratic nominee for Governor will be Neguse,Weiser, or Griswold. Primavera and Young are too old to become Governor.

Neguse is more likely to run for the US Senate when there is going to be an open seat election.
The open seat CO US Senate Election will be in 2032. The incumbent US Senator Hickenlooper will be over 80 years old and will be completing his 2nd US Senate term.
