Neguses first elected office was in 2014 for CO Secretary of State. Neguse lost that race by a 2.36 percent margin. 2014 was a Republican wave election year. Republicans won every statewide election in CO in 2014 except for Governor/Lt Governor. Hickenlooper-D won the 2014 CO Governors Election by a 3.35 percent margin. Republicans won the 2014 Attorney Generals Election by a 9.05 percent margin, Secretary of State Election by a 2.36 percent margin , Treasurer Election by a 4.93 percent margin and US Senate Election by a 1.95 percent margin.
In 2018 and 2022, Democrats won every statewide election.

Crows first elected office was for the 2018 US House Election in CO-6. Crow won that election by unseating Republican incumbent Coffman by a 11.2 percent margin. Crow was re-elected in 2020 by a 17.1 percent margin and in 2022 by a 23.2 percent margin.
Pettersens first election was for the CO state House of Representatives in 2012, she was re-elected in 2014 and 2016. In 2018 and 2020 Pettersen was elected and re-elected to the CO state senate. In 2022 Pettersen just got elected to the US House of Representatives.
In 2024, Neguse will win re-election to the US House by a 40 percent margin, Crow will win re-election to the US House by a 30 percent margin. Pettersen will win re-election to the US House by a 20 percent margin.
Neguse,Crow,and Pettersen will defeat whoever the Republicans nominate for a statewide election(US Senate).
