Regarding the 2026 CO US Senate Election, Joe Neguse's is the Democratic party's 3rd choice.

1)John Hickenlooper-D decides he no longer wants to be in the US Senate any more.
2)Jared Polis-D is more interested in becoming the 1st gay US president than the 1st gay US Senator of the state of CO.
3)Joe Neguse-D is the frontrunner for the 2026 CO US Senate Election if Hickenlooper-D and Polis-D they are not interested in running for the US Senate.
As much as I like Polis, he has made controversial decisions like donating $1,000 to Ilan Omar’s Democratic primary opponent in Omar’s 2020 re-election and wants to eliminate the income tax.(I got those informations about Polis from Wikipedia.) Hickenlooper-D does not excite the Democratic primary voters like those who favor Sherrod Brown.
Joe Neguse is a principled Democratic public servant who would not abandon his base constituent. Neguse will be fighting for people like Ilan Omar’s against those bigoted and ignorant Republicans.

If there was a primary race between Hickenlooper,Polis,and Neguse, I will overwhelmingly support Joe Neguse.
Hickenlooper and Polis are the Democratic Party’s 1st and 2nd choice because of incumbency/name recognition.

2. If Ruben Gallego becomes the next US Senator of AZ. Joe Neguse should be the next US Senator of CO.

CO is more favorable to Democrats than AZ. The Republican bench in CO is extremely weak. There is no Republican holding statewide office in CO.
Cory Gardner, Walker Stapleton, Wayne Williams, Cynthia Coffman are old news. They lost re-election or lost in races for higher political office. Ken Buck and Doug Lamborn are not going to give up their safe US House seats for an uphill battle US Senate Race.
I hate to say it but Lauren Boebert is the best candidate for Republicans. She would excite the Pro MAGA wing of the Republican Party. Lauren Boebert wins in the Republican primary but loses in the November General Election.
