THE Queen has quit Buckingham Palace over coronavirus fears.
Her Majesty, 93, was whisked to Windsor Castle after Cobra crisis talks.

Plans are in place to quarantine her and Prince Philip, 98, at Sandringham if the outbreak worsens. The Queen was chauffeured to Windsor on Thursday. A royal source said: “She is in good health but it was thought best to move her. A lot of her staff are a bit panicky over coronavirus.

I think her and Phillip will be pretty much isolating from here. Charles probably won't and I am sure he is at risk for his age. Since the war the Royal Family don't bugger off. They want to be seen as part of the country. Interesting though, if the Queen died from this, what would they do about the state funeral? I hope she doesn't. She rocks for an old marm.

5. I've been fortunate enough to see her, up close, on several occasions

During her Silver Jubilee week and when she came to Windsor, Ontario. I've even stood outside the gates of Buckingham Palace to sing Happy Birthday to her.

While my mom was awaiting my birth, she spent her time watching the build up to, and the Coronation. I used to joke that I was probably pretty shocked to emerge in Flint, Michigan because I was sure, from all I was hearing, I'd be born a Londoner.

Well, perhaps I was, in a past life.

for her annual Tea with dignitaries etc. usually held in July or August. She has the most beautiful skin.

Both of the times I've seen her, she was standing, quite literally, directly in front of me. I noticed both her flawless skin and that her eyes are such a bright blue. She really seems to radiate graciousness.

Some of the best energy vibes I've ever felt were the two occasions when I stood in a massive crowd, in front of the palace, with the Royals standing on the balcony - once for her official birthday, and the other on Silver Jubilee day.

But even if his wife and children had been evacuated, King George would have stayed. It's a whole different set of circumstances. They alerted for bombings and the family could take shelter. It's hard to alert for someone carrying a virus.

Throughout history, monarchs have left London to avoid plagues, especially in the summer, because that's when most of the plague type illnesses would spread.
