Age of Republican Voters in Texas primary

I have been predicting/hoping that Texas will turn blue for several years now. One of the factors that indicate that Texas will turn blue is the shift of Texas voting population to urban compared to rural. Another important factor is the aging of the Texas GOP voter base. I was surprised by these numbers from the Texas primary

I still believe that Texas will turn blue as the state becomes more urban and the aging GOP voter population dies out

The above numbers are from the GOP primary vote. I am under 70 and voted in the Democratic Primary yesterday.

There are a good number of older Democrats but the key to turning Texas blue will be the vote of younger voters
