COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A man has been arrested after allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol in Lawrence County.

According to a tweet by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a trooper from the Ironton Post recently encountered a vehicle with heavy front-end damage, as well as deployed front and side airbags.

The suspect driver, who had admitted to being at a bar before getting behind the wheel, was seen in a video failing sobriety tests and struggling to answer the deputy's questions.

OSHP highlighted the incident in their post on social media, emphasizing the importance of designating a sober driver.
