Curtis Sliwa campaigns through pressure campaign to drop out

Curtis Sliwa is unbowed from the pressure to drop his campaign for mayor in order for Andrew Cuomo to have a shot at beating Zohran Mamdani in the November general election.

"I don't surrender, I don't retreat," he said during a campaign stop at the 96th Street subway station on the Upper West Side.

It's a demand Sliwa says is coming from billionaires, but he won't say who.

The Republican nominee says they've tried to bribe him, in the form of help to his Guardian Angels group or his pet passion, animal welfare.
