CUNY map director and political professor break down primary results

On July 1, the City Board of Elections will officially tabulate the ranked-choice voting results from Tuesday’s primary.

In the meantime, the CUNY Mapping Service has been busy examining Tuesday’s results and where each candidate for mayor won the most support.

Steven Romalewski, the director of the CUNY Mapping Service, and John Mollenopf, a professor of political science and sociology at the CUNY Graduate Center and director of the school’s Center for Urban Research, joined “Inside City Hall” Friday to discuss their findings.
