Vacant Houses the Danger Next Door

It's a quick 'fast facts' click through from NJ.com - but it's a good quick read.

I know my borough pols are riding the asses of the banks on the few we have in our town. At least one is on the verge of being seized due to bank neglect.

We left July 11, 2011, 10 months after getting the notice of intent to foreclose. There's been at least one foreclosure filing that was thrown out for lack of prosecution, and a new attorney filed to re-instate the the case this June. I just got a letter from Ocwen that the loan servicing has been transferred and that they filed a claim and were paid by the pmi on their way out. I hope this doesn't mean the whole process starts over.
