Surprisingly low turnout so far in our primary races.

It's important to decide. In the 12th district the media has more or less anointed Dr. Hamawy out of 13 candidates.

As I told his worker who called me yesterday, I will vote for him if he wins.

This said, I'm unhappy that the Isreali/Palestinian thing is such an issue in this race, since there are so many other issues of importance, my own concern being related to environmental issues. (I know this issue is back burner for most people but it is by far the main issue for me.)

I am satisfied that whoever wins they will make generally wise environmental choices, most likely not what I would choose in detail, but at least some recognition of its importance to New Jersey and the world.

Still, I wish for a greater turnout. It's depressing with our country falling apart that the turnout is low.
