For anyone interested in Minnesota history I recommend

"Minnesota, 1918: When Flu, Fire, and War Ravaged the State" by Curt Brown (he writes the history column that appears in the Strib every Sunday).

I heard him discussing it on Matt McNeil's show on AM 950 a couple weeks ago and found a copy at Barnes & Noble.
