Easy to shovel....but not fun for this young deer. Had a sibling with him/her. Gnawing on an apple tree branch. Hope they found the food I set out a couple of hours later...

(30,280 posts)If we have to have snow, this is the perfect dry snow. Easy to shovel. Not a lot of moisture content. If it's sunny and, say 40, tomorrow, we'll lose 1/2 the coverage. I hope that's the case....I need to clear my solar panels.

(18,256 posts)We only got 3 to 4 inches here. We were on the southern edge of the storm. Portland only got 6 to 7 snowflakes. Boston got nothing.

(30,280 posts)Took it inside my office. Motivated me to buy 60 lbs of corn to feed the deer and turkeys. Probably crows, blue jays, and red squirrels, too.
