Charges filed against Coldwater, Kansas, mayor night after re-election victory
COLDWATER, Kan. — Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach announced Wednesday that his office filed election fraud charges against Coldwater Mayor Jose Ceballos.
Ceballos was re-elected to office on Tuesday night.
ourt documents accuse Ceballos of voting in multiple Kansas elections without being a U.S. citizen.
Court records filed in Comanche County show he faces six felony counts, including three for voting without being qualified and three for election perjury.
