Palm Beach Gardens voters head to polls for City Council races Tuesday

Voters in Palm Beach Gardens will head to the polls to elect two members of the City Council on Tuesday, March 10. Polls will remain open until 7 p.m.

In the race for the Group 3 seat, three candidates are vying to replace council member Chelsea Reed, who is leaving office because of term limits. Two of them are former council members.

David Levy served from 2004 to 2016. In his response to a questionnaire from The Palm Beach Post, he said his priorities are establishing a council liaison on the advisory boards and having those boards meet more frequently. He also called for reducing the discretionary spending powers of the city manager.

Litt was on the council from 2017 to 2023. She said her priorities include managing growth and carrying out long-range plans approved during her previous tenure in areas like transportation and workforce housing. She said she wants the city to "continue moving forward without losing what makes it special."
