Metrorail service delays to continue another week

Metros trains will continue to run on their current reduced schedule at least through Oct. 31, Metro General Manager Paul Wiedefeld said in a briefing Friday.
That means trains every 15 to 20 minutes on the Red Line, and 20 to 30 minutes on all other lines.
I also want to encourage customers to utilize Metro bus as an alternative where it makes sense for them, Wiedefeld said.

(47,408 posts)2. There was crowding when I used red line downtown on Monday
it was not a good feeling as we're still in pandemic. Everyone I saw was masked up.
Buses are also crowded as they have not increased service to compensate for the train shortage.
So I drove today and paid $15 for parking when it would have been just $4 metro round trip or $2 for circulator bus round trip. Oh well
